I swear, if it weren't for Conan O'Brien, I wouldn't have shopped here. It seems too pretentious and expensive to me. However, I'm a fan of his podcast and a few times he's talked about how much he loves the formerly known as Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie and even lived off of it when his wife and kids were away. It came to the point where I wanted to taste it for myself even though I normally wouldn't pay $21 for a smoothie. Honestly, it just tastes like a regular strawberry banana smoothie. I heard that their premade meals are good and fairly reasonable, so I bought a few of those as well. Each package is about what you would pay for a meal at a sit down restaurant. Since I don't really cook and I'm vegetarian, these are all great for me, and even though I haven't eaten everything yet, I did eat one of their premade Thai tofu salads when I was at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) and remember it being tasty. When I was waiting in line to order my smoothie and pay for everything else, the cashier asked "Are you ok?" and I said "I'm just really cold right now!" because we were right next to the refrigerated premade meals section. He said something about try

I watched an Erewhon employee drop a green onion bunch on the floor while restocking the produce aisle. Like all the scallions here, it wasn't wrapped, just held together with a rubber band, so it landed directly on the floor with nothing protecting it. Instead of tossing it, the employee picked it up and put it right back on the shelf for sale. This is a store that charges premium prices across the board, where a $20 smoothie is normal. The item in question was on sale for 99 cents. We are talking about *less than a dollar* of inventory loss. There is no version of this story where tossing that pack instead of reshelving it would have hurt anyone's bottom line. And yet a customer was apparently expected to take home and eat something that had just touched a public floor. If a store at this price point can't be bothered to eat a 99-cent loss rather than risk selling a contaminated item, it raises real questions about what else slips through. Floors are walked on by hundreds of shoes a day, dirt, bacteria, who knows what else. Produce that touches the floor should be thrown out, full stop. That's not a high bar. Before any store manager wants to accuse me of making this up: pull

Visited the new Erewhon location in Glendale and it feels very modern, clean, and well organized. The store has the signature Erewhon aesthetic β beautiful produce displays, premium organic products, and a great selection of healthy ready-to-go meals and smoothies. Staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was easy to find even though the store was busy. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality and experience match what you expect from Erewhon. Overall, itβs a great addition to Glendale for anyone into healthy lifestyle shopping

You know your going to have excellent quality food here so its worth it. Service is good, everything is clean and organized. Parking could get a bit busy but don't worry they have valet. This store is so LA.

I have been impatiently waiting for the Glendale location of Erewhon to open, and it did not disappoint. Opening week was absolutely crazy, but the staff handled the parking situation and long lines surprisingly well. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and organized, which made the experience much smoother than expected. I love stopping by for lunch because there are so many healthy and fresh options. Their breakfast items are also really good, but make sure to go before 11 AM because the most popular items sell out quickly. Also, their strawberries are honestly the best - especially the Berryβs strawberries, which usually sell out by midday. Definitely worth the hype.
